What should be noted when installing the electric mortise lock?
There are electric mortise lock, magnetic lock, cathode lock, electric control lock ( mute lock, spiritual lock) these types locks on the markets. In general, I want to divide these electrical locks into two categories. 1. Add electricity to lock the door (such as: electric mortise lock, magnetic lock, NO cathode lock. 2. power off and lock the door (such as: electric control lock, NC cathode lock, mute lock, spiritual lock), these two categories electric lock working is just opposite. The first type of electric lock will lock the door when electricity is turned on. While the second type will open the door when the electricity is turned on.
Let's learn about the voltage and current of the electric lock
1. Most electric mortise locks: DC12V working voltage;
Transient current: 0.6-1A current;
Working current: 0.3-0.6 A current
2. Most magnetic locks: DC12V working voltage;
Upper lock instantaneous current: 0.3-0.6 A current;
Working current: 0.3-0.6 A current
3. Most cathode locks: DC12V working voltage;
Locking instantaneous current: 0.2-0.6 A current;
Working current: 0.2-0.6 A current
4. Most electric control locks: DC12V working voltage;
Locked instantaneous current: 1-2a current;
Working current: 1-2a current
What should be noted when installing the electric mortise lock?
1. It is suggested to use two power lines, and the cross sectional area is over 1.0 square millimeters.
If more than 50 meters are to be considered in a thicker line, or multiple strands in parallel, the longest should not exceed 100 meters.
2. The electric lock type of electric control lock should be delayed to less than 1 second. (prolonged delay can lead to heat or burn.)
3. Pay attention to different types of electric lock wiring, avoid the wrong work caused by NC and NO.
4. An electrical lock that is too long or insufficient for power supply
5. There are positive and negative requirements for individual electric locks. Please check the product specification to connect the wires.
