DC12V3A access control power supply, theoretically can reach 3A in an instant, generally only 1.2A to 1.6A current, and the building intercom system current is not small, and the proposal is installed separately.
According to my personal experience, access control DC12V3A power supply design, only consider a access control system, considering the current voltage and only a electricity of a door without considering the other external systems, generally not recommended a power by multiple systems or multiple devices.
It is also recommended not to connect other system device to the 12V-3A access control power supply of the building. Avoid excessive current from burning out the power supply.
