Using your FC-1882M offline access controller, the card cannot be read after power on, what are the possible causes?
Hello! Thanks for using our company's products! If the card cannot be read: The first step is to check whether the power supply is working properly. The second step is to check whether the card reader is damaged. The third step is to check whether there is strong magnetic interference around the card reader. If the above steps are eliminated, the card reader still cannot read the card, the following fault causes can be determined: The card reader device will generate some static electricity when used for a period of time, the accumulation of static electricity over a long period of time causes excessive power consumption. The shorter the use time, such a problem indicates that the card reader is aging too fast. Solve the problem: Before installation, choose a special power supply with good quality and gated power, if this happens after use, power the electric lock and the card reader separately, and add a power supply to the card reader separately. The access control card reader's card reading speed is slow and the sensing distance is getting closer to eliminate the problem: Step 1: Is the card reader installed on metal Step 2: Whether to swipe in and out, such as swiping in and out to see the distance between the two card readers Cause of failure: If the card reader is mounted on metal, because the metal has a shielding function, part of the radio waves emitted by the card reader is shielded by the metal. The same problem occurs when the two card readers are installed too close to the card reader, the two card readers emit radio waves at the same time, and the mutual interference of the radio waves will cause slow card reading, if they are too close, they will not read the card.
